A few days ago, I received a copy of a CD for children. It’s a toe-tapping, get up and dance CD called “Princess Revolution”.
When it first arrived, I was struck by how cute the packaging was. Perfect for any little princess with castles, dragons, unicorns and of course, dancing princesses.
The songs were all written and performed by Executive Producer Melissa Levis.
Melissa is a #1 mommy rocker in NYC with thousands of performances under her belt. The lyrics are cute and they have wonderful “hidden” lessons is them. Ones of sharing and caring, respect and self respect. The CD contains 15 songs
They are fun and enjoyable for the 8 and under crowd in my esteem. Quite a few of them had my 4 year old granddaughter up and bopping and giggling. That’s a thumbs up. For myself, I had 3 favorities on the disk. Who Can Do It, Me – 5 Little Princesses (jumpin’ on the bed) – Princess Pokey. The last two of course are takes on classics.
Overall, a recommended CD for positive reinforcement of young girls!
The cd will be released on April 24th, during the first National Princess Week. You can, however, download a free copy of the title song, Princess Revolution, on CDBaby.
Now is your chance to win a copy of this cd for your princess!
Disclosure: I received a copy of this CD for the purposes of review
