Not too many people know that my husband was in a car accident back in November. He was working at the time and suffered a severe concussion which caused him numerous problems.
He began a long process of various doctors and treatments. Much of that time has been spent at the Brain Injury Clinic. Just recently, he began the integration of returning to work. Slowly!
So why am I telling you this?
Yes, vitamins help. Proper nutrition is extremely important in helping traumatic brain injury. Repairs need to be made. Progress in returning to a regular lifestyle can be slowed down without the proper nutrients. In my husbands case he had no problem taking an assortment of vitamins daily. He likes the AdultEssentials! I like them and I was fortunate enough to be chosen as one of their Ambassadors.
Prior to his accident I knew vitamins were important. I guess I didn’t realize just how important they can be. They help when you are sick and they help before you become ill. I know that my energy levels are up, that I sleep better at night and I work better during the day!
This experience has taught me the value of daily vitamins. We simply won’t be going without them from now on. We will continue with AdultEssentials. Why change a good thing?
Disclosure – I am participating in the Adult Essentials Blogger Outreach program by ShesConnected. I received a supply of vitamins and compensation in exchange for my participation in this campaign. The opinions on the blog are my own.
