A little while back, I introduced you to MeInATree and now I’d like to take you into the site and show you one of the great tools they have available. It’s called the Family Calendar.
First, you need to sign up for MeInATree if you haven’t already. This is FREE!! Now add your family names. Don’t worry, you are directed quickly and easily through this process. You can even add avatars for each of your family members. At this point, you can schedule a Family Huddle or move directly on the Family Calendar.
Once you open the calendar you’ll see a page of individual dates with lots of room for everyones events.
Now here is where I think this calendar is different from so many others out there. Once you open the calendar, you will see a + sign in upper left corner. Click on it and it opens an activity box. Here you can enter all the details including, which family member this is for, if it repeats, location of event, reminders and, huge as far as I’m concerned, who picks up and drops off!
When you check the calendar to see what happening for the next day, you can check on the entire family, or one individual at a time. Each family member can have access and add their events. No one forgets! Plus, the calendar syncs up to Google and Outlook. This is a number one tool for me.
