It’s time for Minimize Monday again. This week takes us into July and the second half of the year. Wow, that has gone amazingly fast. Last weekend was the long weekend and it was very busy so I didn’t post. I’m super excited though because I just know that I’m going to be finished my basement in the next few weeks.
My selection this week was this dusty old box with used, ratty and torn file folders. I found it sitting in the corner with a pair of expensive and nice binoculars and brand new car cables sitting on top of it.
The cables and binoculars are keepers. The box and files, however, headed straight into the recycle bin.
I nearly have enough good stuff that I’ve collected from half empty boxes to make one box. I’ll pack it up properly and mark it with what exactly is inside for when we need it.
This is just such a good feeling. Every time I go in search of something for my minimize Monday post, I’m actually still being shocked at the junk we brought over from the old house.

I love reading your posts on this – you’ve got me inspired to look for stuff to go. And now I’ve picked a room – my office – to focus on so hoping that each week there is progress there to make it lovely and lots of stuff gone from there and the rest of the house.
