O Canada, our home and native land…An anthem I hope to hear a lot of over these 2012 Olympic Games.
In honor of our athletes Pampers has released a special version of O Canada done completely by babies! What a great way to kick off the Olympics and cheer on Team Canada.
During the past four months, parents uploaded videos of their babies oohing, aahing and giggling to OCanadababy.com. Pampers complied this awesome video and launched “O Canada, baby”.
So let’s help out our athletes and join these babies in the singing of our national anthem!
- Lyrics O Canada (English version)
O Canada!
Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
- Lyrics O Canada (French version)
« O Canada! Terre de nos aïeux,
Ton front est ceint de fleurons glorieux!
Car ton bras sait porter l’épée,
Il sait porter la croix!
Ton histoire est une épopée
Des plus brillants exploits.
Et ta valeur, de foi trempée,
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits.
Protégera nos foyers et nos droits. »
