Tips on Tuesday
I’ve decided to create a new weekly posting on my blog. Tips on Tuesday will be a day for tips and tricks around the home. A few ideas for cooking, cleaning, storing or saving.
- For soups and sauces that have turned out too thin, add a few potato flakes until you get the desired consistencey. It doesn’t change the look or flavor of the food.
- Love homemade cookies? Next time you make up some dough, freeze half of it in rolls. Wrap them well. Then you can take it out, leave on counter for 15 minutes or so and then slice off the cookies to bake. Mmmm fresh
- carrots naturally absorb acid so they are great to add to tomato based sauces to remove too much acidity and sweeten them up a bit.
Did you miss last weeks Tips on Tuesday? No Problem. You can find them here
