Last week I received a copy of Chimpanzee to review. I’m not normally a nature film lover although my husband adores the Discovery Channel. That’s not to say I don’t like nature but I prefer something more fun and entertaining! To my surprise, Chimpanzee delivered everything.
The movie is educational (but not frightening), funny and sad in places. It’s a heartwarming film for the entire family. Certainly not of the variety of nature films I grew up with.
Oscar is the star of this sweet movie. Sadly, his moms dies and he is left alone until he’s suddenly adopted by someone else. Oscar is playful and mischeivious like any child and his playground is the forest.
I admit to having tears in my eyes a few times and a lump in my throat. If you watch one movie, snuggled up on your couch this fall, you must make it this one.
It’s now out on Blue-Ray DVD 2 disc combo pack.
Disc 1 has the blue-ray feature film and bonus, music, behind the scenes and on location!
Disc 2 has the DVD version and bonus + more.
The french version is also included so noone misses out on the fabulous film.
