Recently, I received a selection of Mia Mariu cosmetics to try.
I’m always a little leery when it comes to trying out certain products. Foundation and lipstick have to be at the top of that list. The reason being is that these two products can easily leave you looking tacky and dried out.
The foundation they sent to me was a great match for my skin. One obstacle down. The lipstick is a beautiful pink which I love. It’s more of a glossy type than a regular lipstick.
The lipstick glided on nicely. As it was removed through the course of eating and drinking I found my lips to be no drier than when I originally put on the lipstick. The only drawback I found was the lipstick didn’t stay on as long as I would of hoped for. The color just shines though so I’d buy this one.
The foundation was impressive I have to admit. I don’t love foundation to start with as I have very dry skin and it always looks cakey.
Here you can see that the minerals foundation went on beautifully. I hardly used any for coverage at all. It didn’t sweat out or crease or cake during the day. The coverage is really natural looking. I’m very excited to have found a product I can use. If it can go on my 50 year old skin, it can certainly go on yours.
