Chips and dip are a common sight in households at snack time. The chips are plain with no real benefits except we all love them.
Dips are usually the fatty sour cream based goodness we’ve all come to crave. What if you had a chip full of nutrition and dips that were no fat or healthy fat?
No such thing?
That was my challenge. Now, on many occasions, I’ve posted my love for wholly guacamole and salsa. Two delicious and nutritious dips. Actually, I use them as condiments, dips and in making sauces.
I was given some of these dips to try along with beanitos chips. I’d never seen or heard of these chips before. They don’t look like regular chips and they are full of helathy nutrients like high fibre and high protein. They are corn free and gluten free. I was thinking uh oh!!!
They sent me three types of chips: cheese, BBQ chipotle and pinto bean and flax seed. So first I want to know how they taste alone…..
The cheese was a little spicy for me but the wholly guacamole complimented this chip very well to reduce the heat. The BBQ chipotle reminded me of my favorite ribs. OMG! I could eat bags of these just by themselves. The pinto bean and flax seed were okay on their own but I devoured them with the salsa.
These two products most definitely go hand in hand. They certainly are not your average chips and dip.
