I’ve decided to create a new weekly posting on my blog. Tips on Tuesday will be a day for tips and tricks around the home. A few ideas for cooking, cleaning, storing or saving.
Today’s Tips are ingredient substitutions
1. Apple sauce can be substituted for sugar. 1 cup of apple sauce has approximately 100 calories and one cup of sugar has approximately 770 calories. Wow!
2. Almond Flour can be used in place of wheat flour and is gluten free.
3. Pureed avacado can be used instead of butter.
4. 1/2 cup of sugar and one teaspoon of vanilla can be used in place of one cup sugar. Lose the calories and maintain the flavour!
