What a day! I was having so much fun with @FordCanada and the day was only half over. Our next adventure took up the hill to the Bobsleigh. How cool is that? There was certainly a buzz in the air and many excited bloggers and members of the Ford team. How often do you get to participate in slip sliding down a hill in a bobsleigh?
The helmets were ready and waiting for us. Two teams of four, plus the driver, would head down first and then the next two teams.
I was in the second group and couldn’t wait for my turn. The sleighs were doing 91 and 89km/hr down the track respectively. Talk about your adrenaline rush!
Once we entered the sleigh, the driver explained how to sit properly in the sleigh so wouldn’t get all jostled around. You need to sit tight up to the person in front, elbows out, shoulders slightly scrunched and chin down slightly. This way, you won’t weave side to side with the bobsleigh.
I was nervous and excited all at the same time. As many of us were.
Climbing into the bobsleigh gave me a surreal kind of feeling. I was about to embark on a journey I’d never dreamed of.
On your mark, get set, go…
Wow! That had to be the best roller coaster ride I’ve ever been on. We hit the highest speed of the day at 93km/hr. Such a rush!

Wow! What a speed! You’re so lucky you got to try bobsleigh! I wanted to after 2010, but haven’t yet, now I really want to
