The Aviva Community Fund Supports Positive Change In Your Community

Aviva Insurance believes that the people of a community know what’s best and what’s needed within their own communities. They believe in local insurance brokers who are often the ones to go after support of local needs. They created and support the Aviva Community Fund competition as another way they can work within communities. They created it so that people like you and I can submit our ideas for positive change. What does our community need or want? How can we affect the lives of others in our neighbourhoods?

This is your way of passing along your ideas and thoughts and have a positive impact on what happens around you.

I believe that opportunities like this are rare and should be taken advantage of. We can all look around our own little spaces and see what’s required. Is it housing? Or perhaps it’s a school program like the lunch programs in my own community.

Feeding hungry kids is dear to my heart. Children should never have to go to school hungry. They are our blood and our future. It’s a tragedy for such a wealthy country to have hungry kids. I support the lunch programs at school and think there should be more of them. We all need to support our children.
