For Homemade Taste Try @SabraCanada Hummus Dips

Many years ago, I was introduced to the delights of homemade hummus. Freshly ground chickpeas, tahina, lemon juice and garlic. Oh my gosh, there’s nothing better to have with fresh vegetables or pita bread. I’ve also put it on hamburgers and other meats to “wake them up”!

Occasionally I buy hummus but its not the same. It simply doesn’t have that freshness of real homemade. That is until I tried Sabra. This is as close to homemade as you’re ever going to get.

We tried the roasted red pepper and the roasted pinenuts. I was worried that the roasted red pepper would be too strong a flavour especially for kids. However, it has a unique and quiet taste that goes great with any vegetables for dipping. The roasted pinenuts went well with crackers and cheese. It has that bite of garlic and lemon that’s true to a real hummus.

Sabra is a healthy alternative to fatty, cream based dips and satisfies both your cravings and your hunger. It makes a wonderful additon to a party platter for guests or for home snacking. It’s reasonably priced and a dip even your children will love.

I’m pleased to say that Sabra Canada has offered a wonderful  $50 gift basket to one of my Canadian readers.
