Most evenings my husband and I sit down and relax with one or two cups of loose leaf tea. The aromas are often enough to help release any tension from work or a busy day at home.
We enjoy trying new flavours both for pleasure in drinking and for health reasons. Many teas have benefits besides great taste.
When Tea Gallerie offered me the opportunity to try their loose leaf teas, I didn’t hesitate to say yes! They sent me four different types to try. I received Sicilian Lemon Love, Peppermint, White Guava Ginger and TG Masala Chai.
The first thing I noticed was the resealable bags. That was great! I like that first whiff of tea when I open a fresh bag.
I decided to start taste testing with the Sicilian Lemon. I was surprised to find a very laid back flavour. Just a hint of lemon in this green tea. It was really delightful. In the evening both my husband and I tried the White Guava Ginger. White tea is a favourite in our home. It has a much more delicate flavour than green tea. Not only was this tea tasty but I could of wafted the scent towards me all night. Yummy!
The next day, peppermint was on my list. I found this to be a stronger tea than the first two I tried but equally delicious. It’s a great tea to have as pick me up but also a soothing tea after a large meal. The final tea we tried was the Marsala Chai. This one had my husband written all over it. He’s a huge fan of black teas especially in the morning. He loved it! For myself, I found it a little strong on the cinnamon side. That’s just a personal preference.
My overall favourite was the White Guava Ginger but yours could be any of the above. They are all aromatic and unique.
