Jody and Family

1. Tell us a little about yourself. Who is Jody?

Jody is a happily married mom of 2 girls, Kate & Jane. Jody is a trained Montessori teacher who decided to take a break from “teaching” so she could spend more time with her family. Jody is actively involved in Social Media Campaigns & Brand Awareness and has become recognized as a well known Canadian blogger.

2. How long have you been blogging and why did you start?

Jody has been blogging since the Spring of 2010. She realized that moms who were home with children most of the day sometimes needed a “Mommy Moment“. From experience she felt that she was a better mom when she took a moment for herself,so she named her blog “Mommy Moment”. 

3. If you could meet anyone you wanted, who would it be and why?

If Jody could meet anyone in she would love to meet the sister she has never known.

4. What is your favourite thing about Canada

The breathtaking beauty of the North is Jody’s favorite thing about Canada. Living in Northern Manitoba Jody very quickly fell in love with the Northern lights dancing on the lakes and the majestic snow covered waterfalls!

5. What are your top 3 food choices?

Jody loves warm bannock with homemade jam, cottage cheese perogies and one special occasions her made from scratch pies!

6. Share something you like to do in your spare time “non blogging related”

When Jody is not blogging she loves family time. Family game nights, late night movies with her hubby after the girls are in bed or curling up by the fireplace with a good book and mug of hot tea.

7. Would you like to share anything else?

Jody has a passion for encouraging women. Her goal in life is to help women realize their beauty and worth. If you’ve met Jody you’ve probably heard the words “YOU are smart, YOU are beautiful, YOU are important, Never forget that“.
Although her blog is named “Mommy Moment” she wants all women to feel welcome to her space in this big bloggy world!
