When I think of Marks Work Wearhouse, I’ve always thought menswear. You know, jeans, work boots and thick socks! That is until recently when I discovered a whole world of woman’s fashion.
A surprise package was delivered to my home and inside I found two gorgeous articles of clothing. The first piece I pulled out was a long sleeved, black sweater, no buttons. It felt very soft and I slipped it on right away and just wanted to cozy up in it. A smart looking sweater which would be wonderful for the office over a blouse and yet casual enough for the weekends. A Denver Hayes product that’s both simple and beautiful.
Next out of my package was an amazing, casually elegant sweater dress. I’ll admit that at first my thought was ugh! Wool! Heavy! Scratchy!
It looked heavier than it actually was when you put it on. I was surprised at how light weight it felt. Another Denver Hayes product that just felt so soft. When you expect scratchy and you get soft and comfy it’s a bit of a shocker. The only thing wrong with this dress was the size. Too big. Oh no! However, not to worry. I decided to exchange it for a smaller size at my local Marks Work Warehouse. I’m glad I did. One, I have an extremely luxurious dress to wear and two, I had the opportunity to browse through the amazing selection of womens fashion.
Why did I not realize they had such a vast array of the latest styles for women?
My next question though was, wash and wear? Really? I’ve had a lot of sweaters that bit up after they’ve been put in the washer and lose their shape. Truthfully, I didn’t want to wash it. I liked how my clothes fit and looked and I didn’t want to possibly destroy that. For the sake of you, my reader, I did! To my delight, they came out of the dryer the same way they went into the washer (except clean of course!)
