Have you ever opened the fridge door or the pantry just looking for something to munch on? Something that tastes good and is good for you? A healthy snack? Me too!! All the time. Then I ususally end up with the same ‘ol, same ‘ol.
However, I recently discovered Matt and Steve’s Extreme Bean Pickled beans and olives. If you love pickles these are definitely one to try.
I was sent two different types of pickles. The first one being pickled beans, one garlic and dill flavored and one hot n spicy. The second one was bean stuffed olives in hot n spicy.
Since I’m a huge fan of dill pickles, I decided to try the garlic and dill beans first. Looking at the label I noticed that these are both low calorie (3 beans = 10 calories) and they are a good source of calcium. They have 30% of daily requirement in just 3 beans!! I had no clue of this before! These taste great! You had the texture of beans but the taste of dill pickles. I loved these! What a great way to add some vegetables to your lunch.
Next I opened the hot n spicy beans. Now I’m not a huge lover of “heat”. I prefer a mild to medium. Surprisingly, these were not overly hot at all. You got the great crunch of pickled bean along with a slight kick of heat. I enjoyed these almost as much as the dill and garlic. This particular bean would be a great addition to a ceasar as a spicy stir stick or along with a little cheese for a snack.
Finally, I opened the bean stuffed olives. Another hot n spicy treat. Once again, the heat was a slight afterkick and not an eye watering experience. Olive lovers, enjoy this one! Add it to your martini or simply pop one or two as a delicious snack.
