Sore, Tired Feet?
My husband and I do a lot of walking. I have my routine during the day where I try to get in about an hours walking where my husband tends to do a lot of outdoor walking on construction sites. In the evenings we’ll head out together and walk around the neighborhood. It’s all great excercise. However, by the end of the day my feet are exhausted and tight. This can also effect my legs at times. They’ll feel tight and cramped.
When I was offered the opportunity to try out AirPlus Geo-Gel Insoles, it was a no brainer. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these. They sent quite an assortment for me and my husband. The first thing I reached for was the Gel Orthotic. I was hoping that inserting these into my sneakers would make walking much more comfortable. These insoles have gel at the heal and ball of the foot to absorb shock as well as a breathable gel footbed with an arched curvature for stability. Feet stay cool and comfortable.
The first thing I noticed was the ease of inserting the insole. You do have to hold the heel in place as you slip on your shoe. This just ensures the insole stays in place.
Next, since I’ve never worn gel insoles, was the feel of them. They instantly felt cushiony and comfortable. I was worried that they would alter the fit of my shoe but they didn’t.
I began walking for 30 minutes to test them out. I could feel the gel moulding to my foot.
My feet were feeling good and the insoles were barely noticeable, so I continued on for another 30 minutes.
After removing my runners I noticed that my feet were a little warm but there was no dampness. (I wore them barefooted to see).
The next item I tried was the gel heel cup. I found these a little awkard at first. I put them into a pair of high heels and they didn’t seem to fit properly. So I grabbed a different pair of heels and they went in fine. I looked at the two pairs and realized the widths were different. Since I really wanted them for the first pair of shoes, I decided to cut them. At first I was nervous to cut the gel insole in case it lost it’s shape. I’ve cut the fabric insoles before. Of course, my husband laughed at me and said the insoles were meant to be cut, so I went ahead and did it. Yup, worked out super! Now I can wear that pair of heels without any discomfort. Same cushiony comfort as I received from the orthotic pair. Only this one is concentrated at the heel.
I was also given the Amazing Active Gel full cushion insole. I have no doubt that they will work just as well as the previous ones I’ve tried. I’m saving these ones for my next vacation as we tend to do a lot of exploring on holidays. That means comfortable foot wear.
