Morrocan Style Cabbage And Potato Stew Recipe

I’ve been searching the internet for cabbage recipes that can be done or adapted to be done in the slow cooker. They needed to be simple so I could add my own stamp.

Cabbage is an extremely affordable and beneficial vegetable. It’s healthy, filling and if cooked properly really delicious!

Since the summer is coming and cabbage will get even less expensive, I wanted to create recipes that make great freezer food too.

The first one I want to share with you is a Morrocan style cabbage and potato stew!  This dish makes a great meatless main course or a fabulous side dish for a variety of different proteins.

how much in cups do you think you used for cabbage? The cabbages we get in the plant are bigger then a human head and we reg have extra that I sometimes take home to make lazy mans cabbage rolls (thanks for the cabbage recipe, I think I want to try one with soup, the cabbage borsch ones!!)

    • I’d estimate 4 cups, Bina. You could easily double this up and then freeze half of it. Also, I think I’m going to try a cabbage and italian sausage soup next week.
