Holiday Bucket List? Why Not Try St. Kitts?

This post brought to you by St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino. All opinions are 100% mine.

My husband and I love a warm, luxuriating beach vacation as you know. We’ve been to a few of the popular Caribbean spots and had a blast. What about St. Kitts though and where exactly is it? Turns out, it’s south of Miami in the Eastern Caribbean.

As with other destinations in the Caribbean. St. Kitts has beautiful white sandy beaches and temperatures year round that range from 24 degrees to 28/29 degrees.

This island is easily accessible from Canada, the US and Europe even though it would be termed “off the beaten path”. Don’t let that phrase discourage you though, there is a lot to do and see, adventures, eco-tourism and luxury beyond belief!

Besides the many gorgeous beaches, you can experience adventure like Sky Safari Tours, historical sites like the Church of the Immaculate Conception or visit the Fairview Great House & Botanical Gardens.

My son-in-law would love the government house but for myself, I’d love to take a Catamaran Cruise maybe the Blue Water Safari and enjoy some wonderful snorkeling.

There’s literally something for everyone at St. Kitts. If you’re interested in simply relaxing and enjoying great food and beautiful views while listening the ocean from your beach chair, well they have that too.

There’s the marvellous St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino. It boasts luxury accommodations, 8 restaurants and 2 lounges. Don’t forget the fun filled excitement of their 35,000 sq. ft. Royal Beach Casino. Not a gambler? Not a problem. Enjoy a round of golf at the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club or get pampered at the Emerald Mist Spa.

Oh, and did I mention that St. Kitts Marriott Resort & Royal Beach Casino has fantastic deals like the St. Kitts Marriott Super Sand Dollars offer? Stay four nights and get 3 nights free!!

Naturally, as a person who enjoys her food, I’d be checking out all the delicious seafood recipes that The Marriott and St. Kitts have to offer. Perhaps I’d dip into a little Rum as well. What!? It’s very popular on the Island. When in Rome and all that. Speaking of which, I’d even venture to try their “goat water” which is actually a stew made from the neck bones and meat of the goat.

Yes, I think that St. Kitts is being added to my Holiday Bucket List and taking advantage of the St. Kitts Marriott Super Sand Dollars offer from The Marriott is a no brainer.

Have you ever been to St. Kitts? If not, what do find most interesting about the items I’ve mentioned?

  1. I haven’t been to St. Kitts but I have family in the Turks and Caicos so I’m familiar with the joys of the Caribbean! I love the seafood and rum too! 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion. We are actually thinking of going on our first Caribbean vacation this year, and will look more into St. Kitts.

  3. I would love to, but time and money is really messing up this year’s vacation plans.

    Looks like fun!!
