In April, Larry and I will have been married for 35 years. We got married at the tender age of 20. Back then, marrying young, was not uncommon. The only pieces of quality jewelry I had, were my wedding rings. I didn’t grow up with a lot of money, but I did grow up liking quality. I’d rather go with having less in quantity, and more in quality.
Six years ago, Larry bought me the first significant piece of quality jewelry since my wedding rings. Truth be told, it was the first time we began to feel able to treat ourselves in such a manner. I don’t want or need an excessive amount of jewelry. However, having a few special pieces is wonderful to go out with. Makes me feel good.
A few years ago, I discovered Pearl Paradise. I realized that quality did not have to break the bank. Every piece of jewelry, from earrings to bracelets, to the gorgeous necklaces I’ve reviewed, have been pure quality. Each piece with its own beauty and lustre, and affordably priced. They seem to constantly create new pieces as well. This month, in time for Valentines Day, something old is new again. A pearl necklace that takes you back in time. A graduated strand of pearls, popular in the 1950’s. Due to the difficulties in matching pearls in a graduated style, this style was mainly discontinued.
I don’t ever recall seeing a necklace quite like this. At least, not in real life. It’s a superb, delicate, necklace. I find myself running my fingers along the strand. What’s wonderful about pearls, like diamonds, they simply never go out of style. This graduated strand is an example of how timeless pearls are. Quality jewelry gets handed down throughout the generations. My own wedding band, was my mothers.
When purchasing a gift for a Valentine, think endless beauty. Think of generations to come. Think of the wonderful times that go along with your gift. Love is a treasure and a privilege.
To celebrate Valentines Day this year, Pearl Paradise and BitsNBitesWithTina, will be giving away this beautiful, graduated strand of pearls. Who would you give it to? Open to CANADA & US.
