Homemade Old Bay Seasoning #Recipe

Often times, when searching for seafood recipes, they call for Old Bay Seasoning. Perhaps I’m looking in the wrong area of my store, but I can’t find it. No matter though, it’s extremely easy to make a close version.

my own old bay seasoning

First, you want to find a small container. I used an empty spice container. Next, pull out your stash of spices. You’ll find this seasoning is a simple combination of common spices we use. Now, simply measure and pour the spices into your container, and shake well. Since I was using an old spice bottle, I required a funnel, but still, I managed to make a mess!

That’s it! Label and store as you would any other.

This particular recipe for Old Bay Seasoning I found on Pinterest. It’s Emerald Essence and it’s got an amazing flavour! Personally, I always add twice what the recipes call for, I simply enjoy the taste.
