School Volunteers Make Things Happen! Nominate Yours #Contest #kellogger #FeedingBetterDays

There is something about our country that really bothers me. That’s hungry children! In such a strong, wealthy country, this should never occur. Thankfully, there are donations and volunteers who help to make a dent in this horrific problem.

When a child arrives at school hungry, it affects their ability to learn. Not only that, but it interferes with socialization. This causes stress and anxiety for the child and his classmates. Don’t all children deserve to learn and have friends? Of course they do.

Today, I want to introduce you to Kellogg Canada Feeding Better Days Award. This award is to recognize the heroes, the volunteers, who run breakfast clubs around the country. So, we’re asking you to nominate someone who makes a difference for your school. We want to know how they go above and beyond. How do they interact with children? What steps do they take to encourage kids?

The winner will be recognized with a $10,000 donation to the school breakfast program where they volunteer. Find more information and submit your nomination at Kellogg’s Feeding Better Days Award.
