Roasted Potatoes The ActiFry Way #ActiFryRecipes

Just in case you didn’t see my Facebook post, I received an ActiFry for Christmas. I’ve been wanting one for ages and was super thrilled when I opened it. However, I was a little disappointed that there isn’t a lot of recipes around for it. So, I’ve decided to post an ActiFry recipe as often as I can on the blog. Hopefully, once a week. Some of them will be really simple as I’m just learning.

This first recipe is roast potatoes. Now, I’ve made these dozens of times on the bbq, and in the oven. Yet, these turned out to be the best I’ve ever made. Larry will vouch for that. They come out very crunchy on the outside, and yet, real soft and tender inside. To vary it up, switch out the spices.

Roasted Potatoes The ActiFry Way

Serves: 2
  • 2 or 3 large russet potatoes
  • 1 actifry spoonful of olive oil
  • ½ tsp thyme
  • pinch of rosemary
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. combine all ingredients in a bowl
  2. mix well so potatoes are fully covered
  3. place into actifry and cook 40 minutes

    Yum, I make them in the oven covered in olive oil. This would be a healthy change.
