Women, Purchasing Power And @CitizenRad #Giveaway

Studies have shown that women do the majority of household shopping. In fact, they do over 75% of it. Perhaps that’s because women enjoy shopping more, or maybe we’re the bigger deal shoppers.

In the past, it was expected that women would take care of the necessities of shopping. After all, there were more women at home. Nowadays, women work outside the home, but those duties seem to continue to be part of the expected routine. For example, more of us stay home to look after children who are ill, than our male counterparts.

Having said that, with the rise of our position in the workforce, the care of children and home, our own needs and wants, comes an amazing gift. Purchasing Power!

If you’ve never considered this, it’s time to think about it. We buy food, clothes, home products and more. Our position in the house means we make the majority of large purchases as well. Such as furniture or vacation packages. As well, we purchase items we really don’t need, just to help our children raise funds at school.

Let’s suppose you could make your purchasing power work for you in a way that could help your child’s school, or helped raise funds for your favourite charity. While you buy items you need, you get to say where some of the money goes. You get to create charitable donations without spending more.

Meet Robyn, a woman and mother who saw this opportunity and turned it into reality with CitizenRad. Her online store allows you to shop for great products, like school backpacks, while 10% of your money spent goes to the charity of your choice. Best of all, no cost to the charity or to you.

This is a site that is building every day. With your help, more schools and charities can be signed up to benefit! I’m so excited to bring this site to you. To show you how you can put your purchasing power to work!

As a way to introduce you to this fab site, Robyn and I are giving you the opportunity to win a RaDTaGZ party pack along with the Maple Leaf collectible tag. A great loot bag idea!!
